Benefits of Hosting an Au Pair With Au Pair Foundation
Hosting an Au Pair brings many benefits to Host Families – flexible and affordable childcare with the added benefit of cultural exchange and exposure to foreign languages.
the benefit of personalized service
By offering personalized, one-to-one service, Au Pair Foundation offers American Host Families a flexible and affordable childcare option by placing highly qualified, loving childcare providers from other countries in their home for up to two years. Our Host Families learn more about the Au Pair’s culture, language and the world around them, while our Au Pairs learn about life with an American family, experience a unique cultural exchange and create lasting memories throughout the program year.
Our boutique agency strives to provide all of our Host Families and Au Pairs with an exceptional cross-cultural exchange and childcare program that will enhance their understanding and acceptance of other cultures and foster life-long friendships.
Bring the world to your children today!
the benefit of Flexible and affordable childcare
Are you tired of leaving the house with Cheerios stuck in your hair? Are you frustrated with the 6pm pick-up deadline at your child’s daycare? Imagine only having to worry about getting yourself ready in the morning. Or bringing back date night with your spouse.
With an Au Pair, these dreams can become a reality. A live-in Au Pair creates the flexible, consistent childcare busy families need – a childcare option that is based on the Host Family’s schedule and needs. Relax and think of the peace of mind you’ll have knowing that your children are being cared for by a highly qualified Au Pair in the comfort of your own home.
THE BENEFIT OF CULTURAL EXCHANGe
At Au Pair Foundation, we believe the cultural exchange experience is a two-way street. Hosting an Au Pair is like bringing a foreign culture into your home. Host Families enjoy learning about their Au Pair’s home country, culture, food, music, and much more. Likewise, our Host Families enjoy sharing American cultures, customs and holidays with Au Pairs from around the world.
The Benefit of Language Exchange
During the Au Pair screening process, Au Pairs are evaluated to assure English competency. However, one of the motivating factors for Au Pairs to participate in the program is to hone their English language skills. While the predominant language in the household should be English, Au Pairs can teach your children their native language through activities and songs. Au Pairs are encouraged to teach their native languages to the children if the host parents desire.
The benefits to being exposed to other languages are proven to be especially beneficial if done before the age of 10.
