Letter to Host FamilyMy name is Monda, 22 years old. I graduated from Ankang College in July this year. My major is the English Education. I come from a beautiful city, Xianyang, SWhaanxi Province. Now, I’m working in a middle school as an English teacher. In my spare time, I go to a kindergarten near my village to teach kids English, and play with them. Every time I go there, a lot of children will give me some snacks and put them in my bag. Sometimes, the sweet kids will invite me to their homes. I enjoy going hiking, swimming, doing sports, and reading in my free time. I usually have a picnic with my friends. Sometimes I chat with my foreign friends on the internet.
A friend told me about the Chinese Au Pair. After listening, I am very excited. As I like children very much, I’d love to take good care of your children. In addition, I think it’s a good way to learn about the American culture and improve my oral English I choose to go to the United States as an Au Pair because I think Americans are very simple and easy to get along with. The American culture and the way of education has also attracted me for a long time. I’m always envy and longing for the life in USA. I think being an Au Pair in America is an opportunity to realize my dream and increase my value.
I believe that I can be a good Au Pair because I will try my best to be a good Au Pair. Firstly, I am an english teacher for several years. I always stay with childrean and I know what they want and what they are thinking. Secondly, I have much experience of looking after babies. And their parents are all satisfied with me. Whats more, I am a person of patience, responsibility and love.
After finishing my au pair program, I will promptly return to China to continue my education in English. At that time, I believe my English level will be improved; and my students will be more outstanding.

I am Li Xu, A girl from a large family in Fuzhou City comprised of my Grandpa, my parents, my brother who was born five years later than me, and I. I am glad to get to know your family through the Au Pair program. I am fond of making friends and often get along with my classmates.
As a mature and experienced girl, I sometimes am a listener and discuss something interesting with them for other times when we get together. And I am the elder sister in my large family where I have many cousins. Meanwhile, I am also a head of the children who often play games with them. I am easy-going and love family life.
My elementary school, secondary school and high school courses were finished in Cang Shan District, Fuzhou City and I studied Nursing at Fujian Fuqing Health School after then. After graduation, I started my work at Fuzhou HEMUJIA Maternity Hospital and became more and became fonder of the job with busy work every day. It is so happy to see the birth of each baby. At work, I do physical examinations for pregnant women and take a bath and do basic nursing to the newborn. I feel the sense of mission of the job from my work and accumulate much experience on taking care of babies. And it’s my honor to get approval of the leaders. It’s my pleasure to be an Au Pair. I’d like to have a different life and learn American culture and English. It’s a good opportunity for me to live with an American family and help to take their children. My name is Huaichu Xu, or you can call me Emily. I come from Fuzhou, Fujian Province in China. I was born in a peaceful family with full of love. I stay with my parents and grandparents. I have a sister who is 8 years older than me. She is a police officer and married. My young brother, who is 1 year younger than me, is going to graduate from university. My parents love us and I grew up in a happy family.
I have a lot of friends and most of them are girls because I graduated from a girls' school. I am a simple and happy person. My friends enjoy staying with me as I always make them happy and laugh. I am an optimistic, proactive, love and trustful friend. I am also an easy going people and I like sports, always climb mountains or camp at beach with friends.
I completed my primary, middle and high school study in Cangshan District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province and complete my nursing professional study in Fujian Fuqing Nursing School. After graduation, I worked as an intern in hospital's pediatric department for 2 months. My major responsible was taking care of new born babies. When I am watching at these babies, I feel my work is a sacred mission. Upon completion of my internship, I passed the examination through my hard working and worked in Fuzhou Health Management authority. Though I didn't continue working at hospital, I usually spend my spare time to help family and friends to take care of children because I like kids. I play with them, help them for shower and read stories for them.
I want to be an au pair because I feel I have the capacity to take care of kids in a US family. I graduated in nursing profession and I have scientific methods to take care of kids. Meanwhile, I have a good personality, love, responsible and enjoy staying with kids. The au pair assignment will help to improve myself and support my nursing career after returning to home country. I also want to learn US culture and nursing professional knowledge, and improve my learning as well as language ability.
