It is with great pleasure that Au Pair Foundation announces an exciting development for our wonderful program. As of January 7, 2013 APF has undergone a change in ownership. APF will remain the same Au Pair Foundation that you all know and will now only continue to improve our services under the new ownership of APF Global Exchange, not for profit.
We are delighted to share this news as all current national staff and field staff will remain on board and help us take this program to the next level of excellence in the field of au pair exchanges! We look forward to continuing to provide quality care to our au pairs and host families and remain committed to doing what is always best for all of our participants.
APF takes great pride in the care we provide the children in our host families as well as the support we give our outstanding au pairs. We are all committed to raising the bar even higher on the standard of care and attention we provide.
More details will follow in the days to come but in the meantime please know all of us at APF are delighted and excited about this new development.

Dear Au Pair Foundation Community,
At Au Pair Foundation, our mission is to provide personalized, one-to-one service to our host families and au pairs. We are constantly looking at ways to improve our program and make it the best au pair program in the United States. In order to better fulfill this mission, we are pleased to announce our new field staff structure. By restructuring our field staff, we will be able to continue our exceptional customer service and continue to strength our program of flexible and affordable childcare.
Au Pair Foundation field staff is comprised of a team of professionals committed to the mission of cultural exchange. We take pride in our personalized service, offering both our host families and au pairs with a team that is well trained and also committed to our mission of quality cultural exchange experiences. Our mission is to give our host families and our au pairs the right expectation, which is the key to a successful match.
Our Regional Directors are responsible for all new development and marketing by helping current host families navigate getting their next Au Pair. They help au pairs throughout their au pair year and also to navigate their extension year. Our Regional Directors works very closely with the Community Representatives in the their region, by conducting all hiring and training programs for the new and existing field staff in their region, including a continuing education training program.

Zoie has made valuable contributions to Au Pair Foundation over the years. She is a host mom, Community Representative and Regional Director. She and her family have hosted au pairs since her youngest child was born in 2008. The Nikov home has hosted au pairs from Bosnia, Brazil, Germany and Serbia - each leaving behind many fond memories and lasting friendships.
Zoie is a busy mom balancing home and work - two young children along with a full-time career as a nursing home administrator and her work with Au Pair Foundation. It all works together and supports a common theme in her life ... taking care of families. Zoie works with all our East Coast and Southeast host families, au pairs, and Community Representatives to ensure a wonderful program experience.

Carrie Crompton has been involved with the au pair program for 4 years, having always been heavily involved in the development and marketing aspects of the au pair program, as well as the customer service and satisfaction she provides for her host families and au pairs. Her passion for the au pair program is evident in the level of service she provides for all of those with whom she comes into contact.
Carrie lives in Saint Louis, Missouri with her husband, Seth, and her children, a 2 year old son and a new baby boy expected in September. Carrie and Seth met during a law school study abroad program in Madrid, Spain, and have loved travel, language and cultural exchange ever since. They have enjoyed many wonderful trips abroad and hope to continue crossing places off their bucket list – next up is Argentina! Carrie and her family have been the host family to a wonderful German au pair, with whom they still stay in contact.
In order to bring you the best customer service, Zoie and Carrie are available on a 24/7 basis for any emergency situations. As mothers themselves, they understand the importance of having loving, well screened top quality childcare for one’s children.
By offering personalized, one-to-one service, Au Pair Foundation offers American families a flexible and affordable childcare option by placing highly qualified, loving childcare providers from other countries in their home for up to two years. Our host families learn more about the au pair’s culture, language and the world around them, while our au pairs learn about life with an American family, experience a unique cultural exchange and create lasting memories throughout the program year. Our boutique agency strives to provide all of our host families and au pairs with an exceptional cross-cultural exchange and childcare program that will enhance their understanding and acceptance of other cultures and foster life-long friendships.
Bring the world to your children today!
Our Regional Directors, and National Director Carrie Crompton, are available to both host families and au pairs and are a source for anything related to the au pair program. Please email or call them at any time with questions or comments.
We look forward to our continued relationship for many au pair years to come!
