I worked with two families first I had to look after the baby (g) she was a very lovely baby. I n the morning, we did workbooks and played academic to keep their studies spark. In the afternoons we could have play time. In the sleeping time I used to tell her fairy tales which she like most. And second family I worked for was Mr. Min Maharjan’s family for 11 months. I had to look after baby that was one year old. As they have their family business they didn’t have time too look after the baby so my responsibility was to look after baby, helping with the children to feed them preparing meals for the baby cleaning baby’s room. I really enjoy this job because I love caring for the children. I have also worked as a primary teacher in 2005-2007 in Kamana higher secondary boarding school for 1 year. I simply adore teaching playing with them learning from all people, especially children. Teaching period was the best experience in my life. I believe that all children are like clay which is there to be molded with gentleness and care. I always planned activities, which would boost the baby’s confidence and creativity. Hi My name is Maria Jorgenlina Ferrando, my friends and family call me YoYO I have am 18 years old. I graduate from High school and I am ready to live a new experience in my life.My family consists in my Mother Silvina. My father Alberto and my 3 susters Delfind, Valentina and my younger sister they are all still studying like myself. We are a very united family, I help with the house hold chores like cooking and washing the dished and making the beds.I have 25 cousins for that reason I am totally in contact with kids of all ages. Also in my family we have 3 dogs in the house and two in my country house. I am a person who loves sports and enjoys a lot of recreational activities like camping’s birthday parties and so on. My preference is hockey an thanks to it I was able to interact with people of different countries like America, Australia, Uruguay etc. and I also coached the girls hockey teach ages from 7-8 years old. One year ago an exchange student from Sweden stayed in my house for 11 months. It was a unique experience since she learned our culture and language and I learned among other things to live day to day with an unknown person like her.I like pottery and drawing. I am interested in Fashion, in photography among other things. I am really excited to live in a different culture like the American culture since it will be a great opportunity to improve my language skills and to travel and meet new people. They treat me as their own daughter and those two children also love me very much and I love them too.Another remarkable homely experience I had was in my relatives home. My mother’s sister, my aunt and uncle they both are very busy at their own work. My aunt she works in one of the leading NGO in Nepal. Most of the time she has to be out of valley. My uncle he works in Government Office. They have one small son. I was the one to take care of the child since from the day he was born, due to the busy schedule of my uncle and aunt. I had to look after him in everything from changing disappears to giving him milk in time and bath him. He is so use to me that even today I have to be with him while eating and sleeping time, it is very hard to work with such small baby but working as an au pair in fact become very enjoyable job.I can easily adjust with everyone. I know English language easy for me to care American child and to communicate with babies and my host family. If you give me an opportunity to work after your child I will grateful to you. A very warm Namaste. This is Nirmala Lama, I am from Nepal. I am 22 years old and just completed my BBS level. I love traveling, reading books and most of all I like to have conversation with people of different culture. I am also interested in learning new styles and way of living. My hobbies are collecting stamps, dancing, swimming and doing funny things from which I can make people laugh and lose to them. About my qualifications, as per I told you in the beginning, beyond that I had taken part in these different program by representing my college and got award too. Besides these I have worked in different social centre. I have done different courses on computer.
We all know America is one of the most developed countries in the world and I always wish to explore it in my life time to see the people over there to know a lot about their lifestyle as well a I am very much interested to take photo in front of the statue of liberty which comes under the world heritage. Knowing my interest and according to my experience, I found an au pair will be suitable program to visit USA where I can stay with the American family and have a lot of time to know about America and even I can share my culture, social custom with them. Being a girl of the 21st century I have to myself as an eligible and independent hard working girl, and I am sure it's the best platform that I would get to prove myself to show my talent and confident. I am determined and dedicated girl and love to accept the challenges that come up to me. In this way, I can gain experiences through my visit in USA; in addition it is the land where hard working people are always respected.
I would like to take you in my old days, when I used to work as a babysitter with respected families. The kids were very small and now they have grown up and they have started to going to school. I love them very much so I visit them one in a month and the family also loves me like their family member. There I had to be whole day to make their food, clean them, change their dresses, diapers, etc. the job was so difficult for an unmarried lady but I enjoyed my time over there and I'm sure one day I can be a perfect mother and caretaker. So, in all my time passed with the children so I hope I can be a perfect au pair for my host family.
Saying my family I am an elder daughter of my family and one sister and two brothers who are studying. My father is a carpenter. And my mother is a housewife who is lovely. As a daughter I've got different responsibilities towards my family and I have to give good support from my side for the better establishment and prestige of my family. For myself I have to gain my academic success and better career, I hope through my side my country will get me as a future asset in having related contribution. I want to assure that I can easily adjust in an American family because I was grown in a family who gave permission for different generations and lifestyle. So, I am sure that I will get my full family support.
I am so flexible and have pet animals too. I don't mind staying in vegetarian family though I am non-vegetarian. I love to cook everything of different varieties and serve everyone. I can eat everything. So, I am with my host family by telling them about my culture, social customs through CDs, videos cultural books and photographs of different festival. Hence, since I am getting this opportunity to experience a new culture in USA, I am sure that my host family ill get me as a good, honest, enthusiastic and sincere family member with whom they can share everything about them and I won't give any place to complain in my work. My name is Bruna Borini. I'm 19 years old. I live with my parents, my father, mother sister and brother in a city called Franca. It's a nice city. I live here since I was born. Franca is the capital of men shoes and we have the best basketball team.

My parent's have always taught me important values such as honesty, responsibility and respect. They have always showed me what is right and wrong
Our family has a close relationship with our relatives and for this reason I grew up in contact with my uncles, aunts, cousins', grandfather and grandmother. We are always together in commemorative events.
I finished high school last year (2006) and since then I have taking care of people and in July I began working in a dentist office.
I decided to get in the program because I think it'll be an amazing experience. I also think it'll help me a lot in my future. I am very responsible, communicative and honest. I am sure that I'll do the best. I have a good experience with children. I like to take care of kids, I used to give bath, walking, cooking and feeding them. My name is Samikshya Shah and I am from Nepal. I have completed my intermediate in Arts and currently studying Bachelor's Degree in Arts 3rd year here in Kathmandu Nepal. Now I have been teaching as a teacher at Paradise English School here in Katmandu, Nepal till to date. I love reading books, traveling, learning different culture and different languages. My hobbies are singing, dancing, swimming, etc.
I live with my mother, father and small sister. My father work at a office and my mother is a house wife. I am the elder daughter. I have responsibilities towards my family also. So, I have started to work after I complete my SLC. I used to go to the campus in the morning and worked in the day time as a baby sister for a six month old baby for about one year. I took a very good care and give all of my love. The baby's parents were very happy to have a child lover baby sitter like me. This was my first experience with a new born baby, which was a challenging job but at the same time I enjoyed my work very much because I love children very much. My hard work, care and love towards a baby family a family offers me to work as a baby sitter for their four year old son, Manas. I took care of Manas for two years. I used to play with him and teach him to draw. We were like friends. After completing my two year contract with Manas parents I have been working as a teacher Paradise English School. Since March 2007 it is a pre-primary school. In this school I have to take good care of the children. Play with them and teach them new things. In my free time I still go to visit the families that I have worked as a baby sitter. The parents and the children felt very delightful to see me.
I always wish to explore USA in lifetime to see the people over there to know a lot about their life style and their culture. Dear Family,

First let me introduce myself. My name is Lucas and I am 20. I study English about 9 years. We live in a small town called Jacarei, which is in a beautiful part of interior of Sao Paulo in Brazil. I like all kinds of sports, soccer, swimming, basketball.I have a brother Delfim (31) and a sister Lais (12). Both are very cheerful and full of energy. I usually look her after school and at the weekends we always go to the shopping mall. My mother Lucia (49) is a teacher and my father Valdir (51) is a Manager. We spend a lot of our spare time together, going on trips and doing other leisure activities. We also have three dogs called Anita, Madonna and Mary Jane who are part of the family, they are so special to all of us.I regularly help my mother with the housework, on weekend and do many things to help her in our home because she works all the day. During my holidays I usually go to the same day care that I stay for many months. I help to look after children between the ages of 4 to 9. I really enjoy this job, because I love play witch them.I have decided to be an au pair in the United States because I love children.
